Westchester ( Paul's Beef) continues to host Monday Night Cruise though out September weather permitting of course. Hot Rodders of all kinds came out for Lombard's Last Cruise of 2010. The Munster Mobile, 1940 Packer ambulance and a Burnt Orange Lotus were among the high lights of the evening. Hot Rod Deals and I want to thank everyone for letting me take photos of your cars. I also enjoyed talking to the owners especially the 1977 Monti and the Lotus. There was a record turnout for last nights final Downers Grove cruise night of the year. I shot almost 600 photos with the harsch light of the early part of the evening,and the darkness at the end. The later shots required a high ISO setting and therefor are Grainy appearing.
As always I have to lower resolution when I upload so as not to tie up the server. The uploads are probably good for 3x5s or 4x6s. Hot Rodders and Spectators alike came out to the last cruise night in downtown Lemont for 2010. I met so many nice people though out the summer. When I was walking through the Concours d'-Elegance I felt I was in the presents of Royalty. The pedigree of some of the autos being shown can be traced back to not only the manufacture but the people who assembled the auto as well as previous owners. Each auto shown in the Concours is screened for authenticity. Being excepted for the Concours is knowing that your auto is above the rest. Winning at the Concours is knowing that your auto is the best of the best. Not only Rolls Royce and Ferraris are excepted or are winners. There are different classes for every car.
