I wanted to get this site to talk about F1 racing.  I'm a new fan to the open wheels.  I live in Florida and have been working in landscaping for years while supporting my habit for fast cars, fast women and living life in the fast lane.

Last week I was in Destin Florida at a bar for the evening.  When i came out to go home, my car was dead.  Simply dead.  Jumper cables, and all my buddies involved, could not figure out the problem.  One hour, two hours, three hours simply could not get anything figured out.  I ended up spending the night in the car only to find out the next morning that there was a place just around the corner that was chock filled with automotive experts.  These guys typically would love to work on only the exotics like lamborgini's and Ferrarri's and Porsches and such but as nice as they are, they helped me push in my car to the shop.  Within 20 minutes they had tracked down the culprit.  It was some wire on the wiring harness that had apparently rubbed itself raw on something.  They put some kind of heat shrink wire covering over the wire and even some foam insulation to prevent it from ever happening again.  The whole thing in their shop took about an hour to wrap up.  I'd reccomend these guys to anyone!  So if you're looking for Auto Repair in Destin Florida, check them out!

Destin is a city located in Okaloosa County, Florida. It is a principal city of the Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Located on Florida's Emerald Coast, Destin is known for its white beaches and emerald green waters. Originating as a small fishing village, it is now a popular tourist destination – according to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, over 80 percent of the Emerald Coast's 4.5 million visitors each year visit Destin. The city styles itself "The World's Luckiest Fishing Village", and claims to have the largest fishing vessel fleet in the state of Florida.

Destin is named after Captain Leonard Destin, a New London, Connecticut fishing master who settled in the area c. 1845 or 1850. The first condominiums were built in the 1970s, although Destin was not incorporated as a municipality until 1984. The city has experienced rapid growth since the 1980s.

The city is located on a peninsula separating the Gulf of Mexico from Choctawhatchee Bay. The peninsula was originally an island; hurricanes and sea level changes gradually connected the island to the mainland. As of the 1940s it technically became an island again with the completion of the Choctawhatchee-west bay canal.

Hello Fellow Enthusiasts,

I have an idea I'd like to run past all you classic car owners. I see a lot of pictures posted on this site where there is a car or a person in the background. It's OK for a record shot of the vehicle, but I was thinking it would be nice to offer a picture (or collection of pics) without these distractions and focus only on your vehicle. So, I would be willing to meet with you at a predetermined location and time for a private photo shoot for a small fee. I know a lot of you may have a picture you like already. I know I do, but think about it. Since fall is rapidly approaching the colors will soon be changing. It'll provide a great backdrop to the photo.

Perhaps a shot in a forest preverve, or by a lake. The Chicago skyline at sunrise or dusk is another thought. If you have a location in mind, I'd be happy to discuss it with you.

I do metal detecting .  I'm one of 100 other metal detectives that can find anything from lost items in your back yard to wedding rings on the beach.

Over the years, I have spent some time editing various pictures to give different effects to the shots.  Below is a simple merge of two different photos:

Another editting option that can be done is an effect called selective color.  This is where everything is black and white while only certain colors are allowed to be displayed.  Below is an example of this:

OOBs are fun and time consuming to produce.  OOB stands for out of bounds.  This is where the subject looks like it is out of the boundry of a photo.  Below is an example of this:

Various frames can be created in PhotoShop.  Below is an example of a picture laying on a table, but with burned edges:

Filters can be applied to images causing some interesting shots.  Below is a photo that has been layered with a filter:

HDR shots are becoming the rage now.  This is where you merge 2 or more shots of the same subject, but with different exposure settings.  Below is an example of this:

Finally low light shots can be wonderful to see.  Below is a low light shot of a friends hot rod:

Video Uploads are very simple.  Just click on the Upload my Video link at the top right of the My Videos page (when you're logged in).  A Small window should appear with a flash form.  Click Browse, select your movie file, and click upload. 

Watch the progress bar on your page.  When it is finished uploading, it will process your video into our system.  DO NOT CLOSE the window!   When you see the form to upload another video re-appear, the process is done!  If you have more videos to upload, select another video and start uploading it.

While the uploads window is working, you can go and work in other parts of the site.  Including the My Videos page.  Here you can select any video from your list and set file permissions, access groups, content rating, video category, as well as the title and description.  Click save and, it's done! 

Photo and Video albums are very easy to create.  First you need to click on the MY Photo Albums link on your menu to the left.  Then click on "Add New Photo Album". 

In the form, give your photo album a title / name.  Then Type the author.  Next set the Default Permissions (this will determine who is allowed to see your pictures and videos).  Next, type a description for this photo album.  It could be a trip you took, a car or boat you're selling, a funny thing that happened or whatever.  Then save your album information.

Now, for the whichever album you wish to add pictures to, Click the "Add Multi Photos Form" link.  A separate Popup like window will appear with your title and description in it on the left side.  On the right side, a Java Applet will open which will allow you to select either full directories/folders or many individual files.  You can select up to 100 mb of pictures in a single upload.  The Java Applet will resize all the pictures on your computer and then upload them to the server.  Wait for it to complete on it's own.  Do not close the window.  You can leave it working in the background while doing other things.  Upon completion, it will most likely say, Document Contains No Data.  This means it worked!  At this point, if you want to add more pictures to the same album, you can select and send more pictures. 

Close the window, click on the My Photo Albums link to refresh the My Photo Albums page.  You should see your pictures appear here.

A classic 1972 Ranchero Torino style with the prominent wide fishmouth grille and body-on-frame design in the sporty GT. Automatic with the bullet proof C6 transmission, 9" rear end with 2.71gears for better cruising rpm's on the highway.

Rebuilt Ford 460 long block with approximately 5000 miles on the engine. Solid-roller cam, MSD ignition, flat-top piston 2.19 on the intake and 1.76 on exhaust, 95 cc combustion chambers, roller rockers, rebuilt iron heads, hooker headers, straight through dual exhaust, custom tires and wheels. 10.5 to 1 compression with estimated over 500hp.

Fully restored inside and out with custom paint and hand painted pin striping. Custom amp'd AM/FM stereo, full bench seat, power brakes and steering, sliding rear window, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and a lot more.
